[CANCELLED]: The Banner Maintenance work scheduled for Sunday, March 31st has been cancelled.


 

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we restart Production Database.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner INB and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.)

REASON FOR WORK – Oracle required update to Production Database.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we implement Oracle recommended performance action plan and restart the database.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner INB and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.)

REASON FOR WORK – Applying Oracle recommended performance action plan and restart the database.

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be outages on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches.  The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Blackboard will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

DETAILS OF WORK – We will be performing a firmware upgrade to the network. During this time, access to various IT systems and services will be intermittent on all campuses while work is being performed.  Additionally, the Westchester campus may experience intermittent Internet (wired/wireless) connectivity.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner, Pace email, VPN, File Share, and Skype for Business. Those using applications on Appsrv will also be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform a firmware upgrade to the network.
