The following previously-scheduled work has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
CANCELLED – Transact System Upgrade: Saturday, 5/23 (10:00AM) – Sunday, 5/24 (10:00PM)
DETAILS OF WORK – The Transact System (formerly Blackboard Transaction System) will be unavailable while a database and software upgrade is performed. During this time, Pharos printing, OneCard usage (e.g. meal plan transactions and ID card production), S2 integration, Sam Portal, ID Works, and Bank mobile updates will be unavailable.
SERVICES AFFECTED – Pharos printing, One Card, S2 Integration, Sam Portal, ID Works, and Bank Mobile updates.
REASON FOR WORK – We will be performing a necessary upgrade to the Transact System.
DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we patch Oracle databases.
SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner INB and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.)
REASON FOR WORK – We will be applying patches to Oracle databases.
DETAILS OF WORK – Access to Turnitin will be unavailable while maintenance is being performed. All Turnitin users will be affected, including Mobile and Integrations.
SERVICES AFFECTED – Turnitin
REASON FOR WORK – Vendor will be performing system maintenance.
DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.
SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Blackboard will not be affected.
REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers
DETAILS OF WORK – Information Technology Services (ITS), in collaboration with the Office of Student Assistance (OSA), will be migrating and upgrading the Degree Works application from version 4.1.6 to version 5.0.0. During this time, students, advisors, faculty, and staff will have view-only access to Degree Works and will not be able to refresh or update data.
