SCHEDULED – Banner Maintenance: Sunday, 12/4: 4:00AM – 10:00AM

DETAILS OF WORK – We will be migrating the Banner Production Database to new servers. During this time, access to all Banner systems as well as any processing will be unavailable until the migration has been completed.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third-party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – We will be migrating the Banner Production Database to new servers.

SCHEDULED – Banner Maintenance: Tuesday, 11/22: 5:00PM – 7:00PM

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner BDMS/AX application will be unavailable while we apply system patches.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner BDMS/AX (Banner Document Management System and Application Extender)

REASON FOR WORK – We will be patching the Banner Document Management System.

SCHEDULED – Server Maintenance: Thursday, 11/17: 10:00PM – 11:59PM

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Classes LMS will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

SCHEDULED – (NYC, WP, PLV) Network Maintenance: Monday, 11/7 – Monday, 11/14: (9:30PM – 11:59PM)

DETAILS OF WORK – ITS will be performing an upgrade to the network each night during the hours of 9:30pm-11:59pm on the New York City, White Plains and Pleasantville Campuses. While the work is performed, there will be minimal interruptions (approximately 20 -30 minutes) to Internet (wired/wireless) during this period. Please see upgrade schedule and locations below.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Internet (wired/wireless) connectivity.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform a firmware upgrade to network equipment.

SCHEDULED – Telephone System Maintenance: Friday, 11/4: 7:00PM – 11:59PM

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, all Cisco IP phones will experience three short interruptions (approximately 1 1/2 minutes each) as they reboot and renew the Call Manager application certificates.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Cisco IP Telephone System

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to renew the Call Manager application certificates.
