SCHEDULED – Server Maintenance: Wednesday, 4/17: 10:00PM – 11:59PM

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal Web Pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Classes LMS will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

SCHEDULED – (WP Campus) Network Maintenance: Tuesday, 4/9: 9:30PM – 10:30PM

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, there will be brief interruptions to Internet (wired/wireless) at the White Plains Law School campus while work is being performed.

SERVICES AFFECTED –Network/Internet Access (wired/wireless)

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform maintenance on the network.

SCHEDULED – Banner Maintenance: Sunday, 3/31: 4:00AM – 10:00AM

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we perform Financial Aid upgrades and apply patches.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service)) and all related third party products (such as Pace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – We will be performing Banner Financial Aid upgrades and applying patches.

SCHEDULED – Data Center/Network Maintenance: Wednesday, 3/27: 9:00PM – 11:59PM

DETAILS OF WORK – We will be performing maintenance on the network equipment in the data center. During this time, access to certain IT systems and services from on-campus and off-campus will be intermittent or unavailable while work is being performed.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Certain systems such as Appsrv applications, internal email (email.pace.edu only), Skype for Business, and administrative phone service in NYC may be affected. Special Note: Exchange Online (email365.pace.edu) and Portal/Banner will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform network equipment maintenance.

SCHEDULED – Banner Employee Self Service Restart: Thursday, 3/21: 9:00PM – 10:00PM

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be a brief disruption (under 5 minutes for each server) while we restart the Employee Self Service application. Any end-users who are logged in during the restart period will be logged off, but can just log back in to the application.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Employee Self Service Application. Special Note: Other Portal/Banner areas will not be affected by this work.

REASON FOR WORK – We will be performing a necessary server restart.
