SCHEDULED – Banner Maintenance: Sunday, 5/29: 4:00AM – 10:00AM

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we apply patches to the Banner database.

SERVICES AFFECTED Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – We will be applying patches to the Banner database.

SCHEDULED – Telephone System Maintenance: Friday, 5/20 (8:00PM) – Saturday, 5/21 (1:00AM)

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, the Cisco IP phones will experience two short interruptions (approximately 2 minutes each) as they reboot and update the telephone system.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Cisco IP Telephone System

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform Network Maintenance.

RESOLVED – (Valhalla) Network/Internet Issue

RESOLVED (10/23, 10:02AM) – The network/Internet connectivity issues caused by the power outage earlier today on the Valhalla campus have been resolved. All systems are operating normally. If anyone is still experiencing issues, please contact the Help Desk.


INVESTIGATING (10/23, 8:15AM) – Due to a temporary power outage on the Valhalla campus, the Summit building is subsequently experiencing network/Internet connectivity issues. Our technicians are investigating and working to restore connectivity as quickly as possible.  We will provide another update as soon as we have more information.

CANCELLED – Transact System Upgrade: Saturday, 5/23 (10:00AM) – Sunday, 5/24 (10:00PM)

The following previously-scheduled work has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Transact System (formerly Blackboard Transaction System) will be unavailable while a database and software upgrade is performed.  During this time, Pharos printing, OneCard usage (e.g. meal plan transactions and ID card production), S2 integration, Sam Portal, ID Works, and Bank mobile updates will be unavailable.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Pharos printing, One Card, S2 Integration, Sam Portal, ID Works, and Bank Mobile updates.

REASON FOR WORK – We will be performing a necessary upgrade to the Transact System.
