DETAILS OF WORK – We will be relocating network equipment on the New York City campus, which will affect wired/wireless internet connectivity on that campus.  In addition, NYC-based Skype for Business users will experience an intermittent or temporary interruption while maintenance work is being performed.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Wired/Wireless Internet on NYC campus, Skype for Business access for users based on the NYC campus

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to relocate network equipment.

The work below, originally scheduled for Thursday, 1/11: 5:30PM – 6:00PM, has been rescheduled to: Wednesday, 1/17: 5:30PM – 6:00PM


DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, there will be brief interruptions to Internet (wired/wireless) at 180 Broadway while work is being performed.

SERVICES AFFECTED –Network/Internet Access (wired/wireless)

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform maintenance on the network.

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Classes LMS will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we perform Financial Aid upgrades and Patches.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as Pace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – Applying Financial Aid upgrades and Patches to Banner.
