DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Blackboard will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, we will be performing a software application upgrade to Cisco Unity Connection. There will be several minimal (approximately 5 – 7 minutes) periods of interruption affecting voicemail-to-email feature in Outlook and Cisco Jabber voice message.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Outlook and Cisco Jabber voice message

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform a software application upgrade to Cisco Unity Connection.

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, the Cisco administrative IP phones on all campuses will experience two short interruptions (approximately 2 minutes each) as they download the new firmware and reboot. The timeline is as follows:

  • PLV, Summit and Law: Between 10:00PM and 1:00AM
  • New York City Locations: Between 1:00AM and 4:00AM

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to upgrade the system firmware.
