DETAILS OF WORK – We will be making updates to network equipment. During this time, most systems listed below will maintain redundancy, but may experience a brief lag or interruption. In addition, access to Banner Admin Pages may be intermittent or unavailable.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Pace Email, Skype for Business, Office 365 Single Sign-On, ADAM, Pace Directory, Temp/Contractor Account Site, and Banner Admin Pages.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying necessary updates to network equipment.

DETAILS OF WORK – ITS will be performing an upgrade to the network over two days between 10:00pm-11:59pm, with a limited number of areas being affected. During this time, there will be brief interruptions (approximately 15-30 minutes) per floor to Internet (wired/wireless), administrative telephones, and related network services while work is being performed. Please see below for dates and locations on the Pleasantville campus.

Pleasantville campus

  • Lienhard Hall: Monday 7/24
  • Miller Hall & Kessel Center: Tuesday, 7/25

SERVICES AFFECTED – Network/Internet Access (wired/wireless), Administrative Telephones, VPN, and Remote Desktop Connection at the listed locations. Special Note: Other PLV campus buildings are not affected by this work.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform a firmware upgrade to network equipment.

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Classes LMS will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.
