RESCHEDULED – Banner Maintenance: Sunday, 11/6: 4:00AM – 10:00AM


DETAILS OF WORK – We will be migrating the Banner Production Database to new servers.  During this time, access to all Banner systems as well as any processing will be unavailable until the migration has been completed.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – We will be migrating the Banner Production Database to new servers.

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Classes LMS will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we perform Financial Aid upgrades.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – We will be applying Financial Aid upgrades to Banner.

DETAILS OF WORK – ITS will be performing a network equipment software upgrade at 180 Broadway on the NYC campus. The work will be completed over 3 nights during the hours of 10:00PM-11:59PM, with a limited number of floors being affected each night. While the work is performed, there will be brief interruptions (approximately 15 minutes) to Internet (wired/wireless), administrative telephones, and related network services. Special Note: Other building floors will not be affected by this work.

Schedule by Floor:
• Floors 23 -16: Monday, 10/3
• Floors 17 -10: Tuesday, 10/4
• Floors 9 -3: Wednesday, 10/5

SERVICES AFFECTED – Network/Internet Access (wired/wireless), Administrative Telephones, VPN, and Remote Desktop Connection.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform a firmware upgrade to network equipment.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database and Degree Works will be unavailable while maintenance work is being performed.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.) and Degree Works.

REASON FOR WORK – We will be patching the Banner, Luminis and Degreeworks databases.
