DETAILS OF WORK – Connected analog devices will experience brief interruptions while the Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS) software is updated on analog routers. Any disruptions will last less than 5 minutes per device and will occur afterhours, while each router reboots. Affected devices will include faxes, hallway phones, analog conference phones, and credit card terminals.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to update the Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS) on analog routers.

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Blackboard will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers

Due to an issue with the current equipment on the Valhalla campus, which continues to cause network instability at that location, we need to expedite the scheduled maintenance below.

Thus, this work has been rescheduled for today, Thursday, 9/10, from 1:10PM – 1:40PM.

DETAILS OF WORK – ITS will be replacing network equipment at the Summit (Valhalla campus). During this time, access to Internet (wired/wireless), administrative telephones, and related network services, such as remote desktop connections, will be unavailable on the Valhalla campus.
