DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Blackboard will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we we patch Banner. Special Note: This work was originally scheduled for Sunday, 5/10, 4:00-10:00AM.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.)

REASON FOR WORK – We will be applying financial aid regulatory upgrade and patching Banner.

DETAILS OF WORK – During this timeframe, automatic creation/deletion and update of user accounts to all systems including White Pages, MyPace Portal, Blackboard, E-mail, and Pharos, may take up to 1 day longer to process than normal.

SERVICES AFFECTED – White Pages, MyPace Portal, Blackboard, E-mail, Pharos and other systems.

REASON FOR WORK – We will be applying changes to the account provisioning system.

DETAILS OF WORK – Users will not be able to sign in to several main systems while maintenance work is being performed. Actual service interruption may only last a few minutes.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Access to systems, such as Banner (Admin Pages, BDMS, Self Service, etc.), Blackboard Learn, Degree Works, MyPace Portal, and TouchNet Payments, among others.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to add access to a new application and perform other maintenance.
