DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, Skype for Business functionality will be disabled as follows:

• All functionality will be disabled for student accounts, including chat (IM), meetings with computer video/audio, screensharing, and phone number dialing.
• Direct phone number dialing and dial-in numbers in scheduled meetings will be disabled for all accounts.
• Ability to connect Skype for Business with other organizations through federation will be disabled.

Employee accounts (full-time, part-time, student employees) will continue to have temporary access to chat (IM), meetings with computer video/audio, and screensharing (except phone number dialing), but remaining functionality is expected to be disabled in the weeks that follow.

REASON FOR WORK – Skype for Business is being retired permanently.

DETAILS OF WORK – The AMPROD (Appworx) Production Database and related application will be unavailable while we apply an Oracle Database upgrade.

SERVICES AFFECTED – AMPROD (Appworx) Production Database and related application. Special Note: Other Banner areas will not be affected by this work.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying Oracle Database upgrade.

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, we will regenerate and apply a Call Manager certificate to the telephone system. After the certificate is applied, all Cisco IP phones will restart and experience a brief service interruption.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Cisco IP Telephone System

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to regenerate and apply a Call Manager ECDSA certificate.

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Pace Portal, Web File Storage, Personal Web Pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Brightspace/Classes LMS will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we apply Oracle and Linux patches.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service)) and all related third party products (such as Pace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to apply Oracle and Linux patches.
