DETAILS OF WORK – ITS will be performing an upgrade to the network over two days between 10:00pm-11:59pm, with a limited number of areas being affected. During this time, there will be brief interruptions (approximately 15-30 minutes) to Internet (wired/wireless), administrative telephones, and related network services while work is being performed. Please see below for dates and locations on the Pleasantville campus.

UPGRADE SCHEDULE & LOCATIONS:

Pleasantville campus
• North Hall: Tuesday, 6/20
• Martin Hall: Thursday,6/22

SERVICES AFFECTED – Network/Internet Access (wired/wireless), Administrative Telephones, VPN, and Remote Desktop Connection at the listed locations. Special Note: Other PLV campus buildings are not affected by this work.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform a firmware upgrade to network equipment.

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, all Cisco IP phones will experience a short interruption (approximately 3 – 5 minutes each) as they reboot on all campuses while firmware is updated.

REASON FOR WORK – Performing firmware updates to the phone system.

DETAILS OF WORK – There will be brief disruptions on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches. The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal Web Pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Classes LMS will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we perform Banner upgrades and apply patches.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – We will be patching Oracle databases.

DETAILS OF WORK – The Banner Production Database will be unavailable while we perform Banner upgrades and apply patches.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Banner Production Database (Banner Admin and Banner Self-Service) and all related third party products (such as MyPace Portal, TouchNet, Appworx, PayPal, E-Procurement, etc.).

REASON FOR WORK – We will be applying upgrades and patches.
