DETAILS OF WORK – There will be outages on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches.  The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED: Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv.  Special Note: Banner and Blackboard will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK:  Applying security patches to all servers

DETAILS OF WORK –  We will be performing an upgrade to the Web Help Desk application (http://help.pace.edu) to version 12.5.1.  During this time, system access will not be available for viewing, creating, or managing Help Desk tickets.  After the upgrade, users will experience an updated system interface.  We will also streamline the request categories for the Information Technology Services area of the ticketing system.

REASON FOR WORK – This upgrade is necessary for compliance and security.

DETAILS OF WORK – We will be performing firmware upgrades to the network on all campuses and buildings. During this time, access to various IT systems and services will be intermittent while work is being performed. Please see below for dates and locations for each campus.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Pace email, Internet Access (Wired/Wireless), VPN, File Share, Skype for Business, and Administrative Telephones. Those using applications on Appsrv will also be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to perform minimum firmware requirements for new equipment.

DETAILS OF WORK – We will be performing an update to the PACE-GUEST Wireless network. During this time, access to create wireless guest accounts from the Sponsor Portal (https://sponsor.pace.edu) will not be available. Users with existing PACE-GUEST wireless accounts will still be able to connect to the PACE-GUEST network during this time.

REASON FOR WORK – This update is necessary to correct an issue with the equipment.
