DETAILS OF WORK – There will be outages on all University-wide systems as we apply critical system patches.  The downtime on each server will be minimal (15 minutes) during this period.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Listserv, Portal, Web File Storage, Personal web pages, and applications on Appsrv. Special Note: Banner and Blackboard will not be affected.

REASON FOR WORK – Applying security patches to all servers.

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, Lynda.com will be unavailable while the vendor migrates all content to the new LinkedIn Learning site. After migration is completed, user will be asked to activate their accounts with LinkedIn Learning and will experience a new look and feel, but will still have access to the same content and any existing playlists they previously created.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Lynda.com

REASON FOR WORK – The vendor will be migrating content from Lynda.com to the new LinkedIn Learning site.

DETAILS OF WORK – During this time, Internet connectivity (wired and wireless), administrative telephones, and related network services may experience an intermittent or temporary interruption while maintenance work is being performed.

SERVICES AFFECTED – Network/Internet Connectivity

REASON FOR WORK – This work is necessary to test new circuits between New York City and Pleasantville.

DETAILS OF WORK –  During this time, we will be performing a firmware upgrade to the telephone system. There will be a minimal (approximately 5 minutes) period of interruption in phone service affecting each of the campus locations listed below.
